SAINTSATIONAL SCRAPPERS

KOOKIE COOKIES

How can you not love these characters? We are family, I've got all my sisters with me.......

HOMECOMING

Who says a homecoming page can't be 'Pretty In Pink.' Do a little tearing here and there, add some bling, flowers and initials and wala -Homecoming In Pink.
Don't ever be intimidated to never put a photo in the middle. Once you've cut your first photo, it gets easier I promise.

INTRODUCING MR. & MRS.

If you have leftover valentine's paper, don't put it up use it for a wedding layout. What's more appropriate. If the wedding colors were not black, red and white then print the photos in black and white.

This paper can be used for children, mother's day, and homecoming. Oops I think I just let the cat out of the bag for the next layout.

BEACH BOOK - G45 AT THE BEACH

What a wonderful way to display a vacation or trip all in one mini album. The paper used was primarily Graphic 45's At The Beach collection. The colors in this line are so soft and pleasing.

I added a few flip out mats so that more photos could be displayed without have to add more pages. This book contains 30 photos. What a nice gift for someone as a thank you or just to have.

TURNING BACK THE HANDS OF TIME

Oh, what a lucky find. The transparent photo was taken when these boys were 10 years old and here they are at their last game together as seniors. Yes, I cried like a baby when I took the picture and when I made the layout.

TASTE OF LOUISIANA

More than likely if you're in Louisiana, you're probably eating or planning your next meal. This was the July Scrapeno project.

PUERTO RICAN SUMMER

This year's vacation was a trip to Puerto Rico. A perfect opportunity to use the GR45 At The Beach paper.

HALLOWEEN A LA GRAPHIC 45

Even if you don't do "Halloween" you gotta love this paper. The colors are fabuloso. I can't wait to do my next layout with this paper.

EXPLORE VERSION II

Yes, it's the same layout, well...almost. When you spend as much time as I do in hotel rooms, you get the time to rethink a layout and that's exactly what I did here. Even though I'm a big fan of cutting a photo, not everyone is. This version has the 5x7 primarily on one page which leaves only room for portrait style photos on the other page.

Also, I added some "real cotton." As I traveled down Hwy 59 on my way to Victoria, I noticed a beautiful cotton field. Of course I didn't have my camera, but I did manage to pick up some cotton bols on the side of the road. What's a plantation page without a little cotton.

CROPPING IN RAYNE

What started out as a last minute, I've got to go...event, turned into a great time with my Gypsy ya yas.

Great food, fun, and a froggy good time was had by all.

A SENIOR MOMENT

It doesn't take long for our babies to grow up to be men. There are no rules that say you can't use butterflies and flowers on a man's page. It's your layouts. If you keep the basic colors manculine, you keep a manly feel to the page. At least that's what I think.

CREATE

Here's my latest project for my Design Team. Given the word "create" and multiple scrapbook papers and embelishments, I decided not just "create" a word decorated with paper, but a living, interchangeable piece that can continue to showcase your creativity.

I also wanted to show how you can take a favorite photo and display it in three different ways all in one project.

This is my beautiful granddaughter who loves taking photos and scrapbooking. It's my salute to her. She's nine and growing up to become a very opinionated young lady.

ARCHITECTURAL ALPHABETS

You are surrounded by art and the potential for art everywhere. Look at the trees, the buildings, the fences, signs, etc. and you'll see what I mean. The first time I saw architectural alphabet photos, I knew I could find the same here in the Lake Charles area.

TIME TO EXPLORE THE TREASURES OF LOUISIANA

No, the aliens did not pick me up and bring me to a new planet. I've been very busy.

This layout is the August Scrapeno Project. Inspired by Nottoway Plantation, it was very gratifying to showcase one of the American Castles in my journey this year through Louisiana via scrapbooking.
