Created this past summer, this too was presented as a challenge. Don't let the size fool you. This little album tells the story of the trip but only takes up six inches of space.

CHALLENGE: Use What You Have

At around 2:00 in the morning I was given the challenge to recreate a layout using the paper we had on hand. When using Graphic 45 any paper is usable and can be adapted in so many ways. Thanks goes out to Connie Giraud for her amazing design that inspired me to re-create it, with what I had on hand.

GYPSY YA YA WEEKEND

Our group called the Gypsy Ya Yas met this weekend at my house and cropped. We were all possessed with making flowers. This flower was made with (5) 4 cup coffee filters, a little hand tearing and some ink. What do you think of my Confederate Rose?

CAJUN MARDI GRAS

For those of you who don't know this about me, I grew up in Oberlin, Louisiana where the Cajun Mardi Gras chicken run is an annual event. This year I went back home and joined my family in Soileau to photograph the event. It was great and I now remember why as children we hid in the back seat of the car when the Mardi Gras revelers came by.

Anyway, here my tribute to a Cajun Mardi Gras and it's my March Scrapeno layout. Again the cost if $15 + $5 if shipped. If any of you would like to join me we'll be meeting at the Westlake Managan Center on the 3rd Monday of every month to pass a good time.

WHO DAT SCRAPBOOK KIT

WHO DAT? How many times have you heard that? Too many I'm afraid, but why not document it. That what we scrapbookers do anyway.

Here's one of my layouts for the Superbowl. Had fun designing it and lots of fun waiting and/or finding the football paper. This was also my class for my "Scrapeno" group for February. Yes, scrapeno. It's like pokeno but instead of playing pokeno, we prepare a double page layout.

I have 5 more kits if anyone wants to buy one. ($15 + $5 postage if I have to mail it). I also have some pretty cool pics of Drew Brees in Disney if anyone wants me to include them with the kit.

Have fun scrapping those Saints. I know I have.
