I taught this class last year and decided to post a video to show the end product. Hope you enjoy.

ABC PRIMER MINI ALBUM

This is my first attempt at a video. The basic bones of this album is so versatile. I see so many of these albums in my future. I've used kraft paper as the base and them added the Graphic 45 ABC Primer paper.

Kathy at Paper Pnenomenon gets credit for the original design of the Add A Page album system. Kathy's a super paper artist. Her website has tutorials, kits and so much more.

ABC PRIMER MINI ALBUM

This mini album uses Graphic 45 ABC Primer paper. The design of the pages come from the Paper Pnenomenon website, Build A Page Album.

This has so many possibilities. There are 5 different page styles. You can use all five, mix and match and make your own paper, use one or two, etc.

I've used kraft paper as my base for two reasons. First it's so sturdy and second because it's such a great base for so many of the papers I tend to buy.

It's my first video, so be gentle.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Here's a sneak peak of my current project called "There's No Place Like Home." It's a mini album/journal documenting all of the places I've called home.

SEPTEMBER SCRAPENO PROJECT

Here's this month's project. Instead of a double page layout, I've done two single page layouts. This line of paper from Graphic 45 is unbelievably versatile. I can't wait to make a mini album plus many more projects.

HWY 61 BLUES MUSEUM

Here's another treasure found while traveling for work, the Hwy. 61 Blues Museum. The museum did not really have a lot of items. What it had was charm and character and a very interesting blues muscian who sang for me the entire time I was visiting. His father was actually someone very important to blues and he was doing what he could to keep his father's memory alive. It's an experience I feel fortunate to have.

BARTELL FAMILY

Graphic 45's LeRomantic line of papers were the perfect choice for me for this layout. I knew I wanted soft vintage feel to the layout and I didn't let the fact that this line looks like it's for wedding layouts only. I've always loved this photo of my mom, dad, and myself. It had to be special, and I think I've done it justice.

BEACH BOOK - G45 AT THE BEACH

What a wonderful way to display a vacation or trip all in one mini album. The paper used was primarily Graphic 45's At The Beach collection. The colors in this line are so soft and pleasing.

I added a few flip out mats so that more photos could be displayed without have to add more pages. This book contains 30 photos. What a nice gift for someone as a thank you or just to have.

TURNING BACK THE HANDS OF TIME

Oh, what a lucky find. The transparent photo was taken when these boys were 10 years old and here they are at their last game together as seniors. Yes, I cried like a baby when I took the picture and when I made the layout.

A SENIOR MOMENT

It doesn't take long for our babies to grow up to be men. There are no rules that say you can't use butterflies and flowers on a man's page. It's your layouts. If you keep the basic colors manculine, you keep a manly feel to the page. At least that's what I think.

BROCK'S BEACH

This is another version of an earlier design with the new Graphic 45 On The Boardwalk Paper. This time I added the fence, new scalloped border punch, new tattered angels beach chipboard cutouts, a real sand dollar, fibers in the fence and with the tulle along with the "Beach" word cutout. These cutouts are great. This company also makes sports words and sports ball slices. You'll have to wait to see those in a later post. Lots of hand tearing and inking.
